The Church of the Mountain of Flesh
The Church of the Mountain of Flesh is my first novel, published in 2024. It's about Medieval Catholic art, so it's got hatched fineliner headers which look like etchings and technicolour full-page pieces which look like stained glass. I'm fond of the morphing Creation of Adam reference in the section headers.
Conjoined Angels
Conjoined Angels is my second novel, publishing later this year. It's about scientific imaging in the 1930s, so the palette has a heavy emphasis on the browns and bronzes of vintage photography. The headers are digitally painted radiographs and the title and section numbers are hand-lettered.
